Seeking Female Firefighters to share insight for TV Show research

Filmmakers Kathleen Simmonds and Jessica Damouni are in the early stages of development for a narrative television series centred around the experiences of the volunteers in the RFS. Their aim is to pay tribute to the volunteers (in particular, women and indigenous volunteers) who were on the frontlines of the Black Summer Fires and highlight the sense of community and camaraderie at the core of the RFS

In order to ensure the accuracy of the series, they are interested in connecting with firefighters for confidential, informal chats as a way to further understand the motivations and experiences of different volunteers and their loved ones.

All communications will be completely confidential and will not be filmed. This is for research purposes only. To find out more about the filmmakers, please head to www.kathleensimmonds.com/intotheblack
